ASME Certified Welding Services

KALCO proudly employs some of the industry’s most talented professionals. Their welding experts are certified in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Sub-Arc welding. KALCO’s shop capabilities allow them to handle large and complex projects in a range of metals.

MIG (Metal Inert Gas)

MIG welding uses a special wire that creates sparks as it is continually fed into the welding gun. These sparks superheat the wire, which feeds the welding pool. MIG welding is often employed with thicker materials or larger projects because it deposits additional material into the area, improving durability.

TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas)

Unlike MIG welding, TIG welding superheats the actual workpiece, fusing the two parts together. This type of welding method is ideal for thinner materials and smaller projects. TIG welding also offers more precise welds.

Sub-Arc (Submerged Arc)

Sub-Arc welding uses a material called flux to protect the weld instead of the inert gas in MIG and TIG welding. This flux also allows KALCO’s expert welders to produce high-quality, durable welds with deeper penetration than other options.

KALCO’s commitment to providing exceptional results for its customers includes value-added services that reduce production costs and increase speed of delivery. To learn more, please contact KALCO Machine & Manufacturing today!
